Info on Hippotech affiliate vendors

Rezzing vendors
1. Make sure you have the same group active as the land is owned by. This will make sure the vendors are set to the same group. If not they will not work. You do this by choosing in the  SL menu: Edit->Groups-… Mark the correct group and press activate. Now all things you rezz will be set to the correct group.

2. Rezz the vendor.  Make sure you allow any transfer dialogs that might appear. Click the vendor once to get the blue menu up and click “Go Online”. The vendor should now be active and ready to make sales.

Commission
On all  affiliate sales Hippotech takes 1.5% (might change if Hippotech changes the rates.) of the sales price. 20% of the remaining amount will be your commission.

Example: You sell a CurWay Avalo kitchen for 1295L. After Hippotechs service fee  of 1.5% is deducted 1275L is left. The remaining 20% commision on that amount would give you 255L.

How to handle customer support and delivery problems
From time to time  SL grid instabilities etc will result in products not beeing delievered like they should. The Hippotech system that are the base of the affiliate vendors are known for beeing very reliable but things like this DO happen. The most usual problem is the customer paying but recieving no product.

Customer will sometimes check the owner of the sign to find out who to IM for redeliveries  etc. Unfortenatly that means you as an affiliate might get IMs about support on the products and sales. There is not much you as an affiliate can do about it. Though, if the customer feels he has  been taken well care of  he might be back to buy more products later. If this happens inform the customer pollitely that they are to contact Cur Waydelich in the matter.

CurWay Giftcards
These cannot be used in affiliate vendors. If you encounter a customer that wishes to use them,  please refer them to the mainstore.

Different CurWay product ranges
CurWay is always developing  new products and ranges. Make sure you visit the mainstore every now and then to see if more products has been released that you may sell. Also try and experiment some with different product ranges to see what YOUR customers prefer.

A good idea is also to make sure you are on the CurWay subscriber list. That way you will be among the first to hear about new product releases. You can find the subscriber at the CurWay Mainstore.

Ending of affiliate program or changes in the terms  and or conditions
CurWay and Cur Waydelich retains the right at any time and for any reason to make changes to the conditions of the program, commission rates or to shut down the vendors.
